Data Sources
Now that you have access to your new AI Assitant you can connect different data sources : documents, website, specify Q&A pairs, RDF graphs, or grab files from OneDrive, SharePoint, OneNote accounts or Google Drive. Select the data source you want to connect:
Data Sources management​
Once you've set up the data source you want, you will have access to your connectors in the Add data tab of your AI Assistant menu, where you can manage the different connectors and uploaded documents.

- To add more connectors click on ADD DATA SOURCE and select the desired one.
- To add files to your existing connector click on ADD FILES and the corresponding providing method will open.
- You can also delete one connector by clicking on and rename the connector by clicking on .
Connectors management​
To preview the content of one connector click on icon. You will be able to :
- View the source files
- Read and edit the raw text
- Add and Edit MetaDatas
- See the upload status of the file
- Download the file
- Edit the display name of the file
- Delete the file
- Manage Columns
- Different Options

Metadata Section allows you to enrich your data sources with custom fields
Learn how to add metadata to your data sources by creating fields with names and values.
UI Presentation​
Open your Data Source list and click on
next to the file you want to work on.On the metadata panel, you can see the automatic data calculated by the system in this table.
To add metadata to a file fill in the fields at the top of the metadata panel :
- Enter a Name (e.g., Character).
- Enter a Content (e.g., Homer Simpson).
- Click + to save.
After adding, click on > on bottom right of the panel to see the added metadata.

Metadata List​
Each file can contain multiple metadata fields. They will appear in a list with their Name and Content, and you can update or delete them at any time by clicking on the
and icons.Example
For a document such as Simpsons_Family_Tree.pdf, you could add:
- Character → Homer Simpson
- Role → Father
- Year Introduced → 1989
- Occupation → Nuclear Safety Inspector
- Catchphrase → D’oh!
You can later use metadata fields as filters in the Facet Search or Chat

Define metadata fields consistently across your files (e.g., always Character, not sometimes Person).
