Prerequisites

Before you can install the Teams integration, your administrator must first have granted you approval to install third-party apps in your Teams workspace. You can check this by trying to install the QAnswer app yourself. If you cannot install it, contact your Teams administrator to install it for your organization or to grant you permission to install third-party apps.

Install

In Teams :

• Go to the Applications tab and Search for the QAnswer Agent app.
• Click on Add to install the app.

• In the new conversation with the bot, in the text field labeled setup.
• Enter the URL generated in Qanswer Application in Team Expose Page. Please note that this URL is unique to your AI Assistant and should not be shared with anyone. Please also note that by generating this link, you are automatically creating a read-only API key for your AI Assistant.

Use the QAnswer app on Teams

When the setup is complete, you'll have access to several commands.

On the top right of the chat bar, you can click on the Show the prompt (Afficher les invites) button to see the available commands.

• Help : to display will show you the link the actual page.
• Setup : to setup another AI Assistant.
• Status Switch : to switch from an assistant to another. The active assistant is the one that will answer to your questions.
• Unlink : to unlink all the current assistant from the QAnswer app.

When your Qanswer Agent is setup, you can start asking questions to your AI Assistant directly from Teams !
