Slack
If you're following this section, you must have added some data in your Ai Assistant according to Data Sources Section and you tested you assistant in AI Task Section.
To use your AI Assistant in Slack, you will need to install the QAnswer Bot app in your Slack workspace. You need to be an admin of the Slack workspace to install the app.
Install QAnswer Bot
Install the QAnswer Slack bot in your workspace by clicking the "Add to Slack" button on the Slack integration page:
Generate setup link
After installing the QAnswer Bot, click on the "Generate" button to generate a setup link for your AI Assistant.
You will only see it one time! This link is unique to your AI Assistant and should not be shared with anyone.
Setup QAnswer Bot
On Slack, in a new conversation with the bot, type command /setup followed by the URL generated in the previous step.
It should look like /setup https://app.qanswer.ai/integrations/Slack?kb=example&user=example&apiKey=example
Start chatting
The QAnswer Bot in Slack should now be setup. You can start chatting with the bot in Slack like you would do with your AI Assistant by using the /ask command.

/ask: Ask a question to the bot on the selected AI Assistant./setup: Setup the bot by linking it to an AI Assistant./help: Get help on how to use the bot./info: Get information about the selected AI Assistant.
